From a Traumatic Horse Accident to a New Purpose: How PEMF Helped a Young Woman Transform Her Recovery — and Her Future

Every now and then, someone shares a story that stays with me long after the conversation ends.
This one did exactly that.

I recently spoke with a young woman who survived a devastating horse accident — an event that left her with a majorly broken pelvis and hip, months in a wheelchair, and a long, painful road ahead. What she told me wasn’t just a recovery story… it was a story of resilience, transformation and the power of the right tools at the right time.

And I knew I needed to share it.

Her Connection to PEMF Started Long Before the Accident

Before the accident ever happened, she already knew about PEMF.
A close friend’s mom used a PEMF machine on the family’s rodeo horses — and on her — and she noticed how much better her body felt afterward.

So when the horse accident changed everything, PEMF wasn’t something she randomly decided to try.

She believed in it.

She trusted it.

And thanks to a friend, who generously lent her a machine, she was able to use PEMF consistently during the hardest stages of healing.

The Sciatic Nerve Pain Was Unbearable — PEMF Was the Only Relief

The accident caused severe sciatic nerve damage.
She described a period of seven days when the pain was so intense that she couldn’t move out of the fetal position.

Nothing helped.

Not medications.
Not stretching.
Not traditional pain interventions.

Her exact words to me were:

“It was the only thing that helped at all.”

PEMF was the one modality that gave her enough relief to function again — and that relief became a turning point.

Her Recovery Was Nearly Twice as Fast as Predicted

She used the machine three times a week.
And not only did her pain decrease, but her body began to recover far quicker than anyone expected.

Doctors told her she’d likely need six full weeks on crutches.

She was walking in three to four.

PEMF supported circulation, reduced inflammation and helped optimize the environment for bone and tissue repair. And she could feel the difference.

Turning Trauma Into Purpose

This is the part that inspired me most.

Her story didn’t end with recovery — it sparked an entirely new direction in her life.

Because PEMF helped her so profoundly, she is now pivoting her entire future toward helping others:

✨ She is building a PEMF wellness business
✨ She is training to become a personal trainer specializing in high-end horsemanship athletes
✨ She wants to help riders and horses perform, recover, and live at their peak
✨ She is transforming one of the worst events of her life into a mission that helps others

What happened to her was heartbreaking, and the pain was real…
but she is using it as a foundation to elevate others — mentally, physically and structurally.

This is what the body naturally healing can look like.
This is what purpose can look like.
And this is why I continue to tell these stories.

Why Stories Like Hers Matter

People often get distracted by “gauss levels” or compare devices without understanding what PEMF actually does at the cellular level. But when you hear a story like hers — when PEMF becomes the only relief during unbearable nerve pain, when it helps accelerate bone recovery, when it gives someone their life back…

You realize something powerful:

This technology changes lives.
And she is now using her second chance to change others’ lives too.

I’m grateful she allowed me to share this journey with you.
